After the release of the fifth album 'Brutalism' back in last April, Jonny Pierce is sharing new single 'Try' along with B-side 'Kiss It Away' via Spotify.

In 'Try', he sings his feelings out about unrequited love with the sad-slow rock sounds, accompanied by a simple drum line along with the bouncy guitar part.

“This song was originally going to be released back in 2014, but I didn’t feel the version I had was good enough to release. It was only after we re-recorded it with bending, haunting strings did the song feel good enough to let into the world.” Pierce explains in his statement, “It’s a song about loving someone at peak level only to get little to nothing in return.”

The Drums will be headlining Maho Rasop Festival this year! Get your tickets to the two days of funtivities on 16-17 November here >> http://bit.ly/MHRS2019

Try Lyrics

I don’t know how to care about you

Anymore than I do, do, do, do…

And I can’t make you love me

Any more than you do, do, do, do…

And you don’t even try

You don’t even try

You don’t even try

 You don’t even try

I have changed my whole life for you

And what do you do, do, do,do

And I can’t make you love me

Anymore than you do, do, do, do

And you don’t even try (x4)

I don’t know how to care for you

Anymore than I do, do, do, do…
