Following the release of ‘Fishing for Fishies’, the blues-oriented record launched earlier this year, Australian psych-rockers King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard have surprised us again with the announcement of the second album of 2019 ‘Infest the Rats’ Nest.’

The upcoming thrash metal record out this August 16 features their three recent metal singles ‘Self-Immolate’, ‘Planet B’, and Organ Farmer.’ It will be their “hardest and heaviest album to date. How metal is it? Very Metal. Maybe even more,” according to the band’s statement.

This August, the seven-piece Melbourne rock outfit will embark on a world tour starting in the U.S. following with the European leg in October and ending in Bangkok at Maho Rasop Festival 2019 this November.

Infest the Rats’ Nest is available to preorder from Tuesday June 25 via Flightless Records. We’re hoping some fresh thrasher tracks are on the setlist, so don’t miss the chance to catch them doing metal in their Bangkok show! Grab your Maho Rasop 2019 ticket now: http://bit.ly/MHRS2019
